The Spire Bushey 10k, 5k & Junior Races

5K & 10K RACE

Part of the annual Bushey Festival, this great little race is now in its 31st year.  The 5k & 10k both wind their way around the leafy Hertfordshire town of Bushey itself, whilst the Junior Races take place at Race HQ - Queens' School.  Chip-timed, with a great route, good organisation and fantastic marshaling these events will be perfect for everyone from novice runners to competitive athletes.

JUNIOR RACES

The Junior Races are chip-timed, with medals for all finishers, and winners trophies in each category (see below for full prize list).  The Junior Races will start at 12pm with the youngest age group going off first.  As this will be immediately after the Adult 10k has finished, the whole family can be involved and watch each other.  Most of all though it will be ..... FUN! 

Distances: School Years 2 & under will run 400m; Years 3 & 4 - 800m; Years 5 & 6 - 800m; Years 7 & 8 - 1600m; Years 9 & 10 - 1600m

Trophies: 1st, 2nd & 3rd boy & girl in each category

Teams: First four to count (cumulative time) in each category PLUS School that enters the most juniors over the 5 categories

Car parking is easy and plentiful, right opposite the start/finish.  There will be a Race Village right next to the start/finish, where there will be food and drinks and children's entertainment.  With the Junior Races starting right after the main race has finished, the whole family can be involved and watch each other.
